Nios micro provides access to Phonak’s state-of-the-art FM technology and with the wireless CORE platform, opens the door to a wide range of accessories. This improves the communication and hearing outcomes quality in all thinkable situations and with all available devices. Furthermore, Nios micro features a unique tamperproof battery that is safe from inquisitive fingers, tucks snugly behind the ear and with the option having a mini hook, a standard hook or can be open fitted, it grows with the child.

SoundFlow - Since no two sound environments are identical, SoundFlow instantly and seamlessly optimizes the hearing instrument settings to create an infinite number of situation-specific programs that optimizes the hearing experience.

SoundRecover - This unique digital processing feature takes speech sounds like "s" and "sh", higher-pitched voices such as women's and children's, and environmental sounds such as birds and telephone rings and transitions those to a better part of your hearing range.  The result is better audibility of those crucial sounds.  In a recent study, 73% of subjects showed objective and subjective benefit when compared to conventional digital processing.

WhistleBlock - Feedback is one of the major annoyances of hearing aid users.  This technology instantly differentiates between true feedback and natural tones thus allowing for maximum hearing benefit without feedback interference.

MyPilot Remote Control - As an option, you may wish to control Nios Micro 5 with a remote control.  This "command center" reads battery power levels, allows for volume changes, program adjustments, directional microphone changes, and more.
